Killann Parish: Masses: Unfortunately no public Masses for the time being due to Covid level 3 restrictions. Masses will be said at usual Bailieborough times and may be viewed on our webcam or heard on our radio system at 107.8FM. At Level 3 of the Covid plan, weddings and funerals may take place, but with a maximum attendence of 25 people. This will be the case for the foreseeable future.
Halloween ‘Fright Night’: Halloween fright night is back this year. Bigger and better than ever. Friday the 30th of October. All Covid guidelines will be in place and so will sanitising stations. Tickets are €5 per person. You can order through the Bailieborough Mid Summer Festival and Town Events Facebook page or contact any committee member.

First Holy Communion: Congratulations to the children from St. Anne’s N.S., St. Felim’s N.S. And the Model N.S., who received their first Holy Communion in St. Annes Church on Tuesday evening last.
Breffni Photography Club: Photography Exhibition: ‘Through The Lens’: Showcasing a diverse range of images from the club’s very talented members, the exhibition continues in Bailieborough Library untill the end of November.

Bailieborough Leisure Centre: Update: We hope that you and your families are keeping well. Just to give you an update on the position of the Leisure Centre.
The current level 3 restrictions and general uncertainties around Covid 19 have curtailed plans of reopening . The situation will be reviewed in tandem with government restrictions and guidelines.
The Board of Management are working hard and have had numerous meetings regarding funding and grants.
We know how important the leisure centre is in the community and appreciate your patience during these difficult times
Art Competition: Link Credit Union Ltd is urging its local community to ‘Imagine More’ for its this year’s Credit Union Annual Art competition.
This year’s theme, ‘Imagine More’, is influenced by the creative role art plays in Irish society and encourages participants to unlock their imagination and look at how art inspires us and our communities. Despite the current challenges, art has kept people from all walks of life connected and this year’s theme encourages participants to express this connectivity on paper or canvass.
The age groups are as follows: 7 years and under, 8-10 years inclusive, 11-13 years inclusive, 14-17 years inclusive, 18 years and over (Adult).
There is also a Special Category for those with physical or intellectual disabilities. (This category are encouraged to use free expression in painting or drawing without the restrictions of the official theme). All entries must be handed into either Kingscourt or Bailieborough Credit Union offices by no later than this Friday, 16th October 2020.
